As a candle maker, the feeling you have when you see the tops of those candles, it’s amazing smooth top, no blooming, no sink holes, jar adhesion and the wick is centred. Wow, what an awesome feeling, we still feel this way each day when we achieve this result. Knowing that our customer will notice the beauty before the wick is even lit.
On the other hand, we can also experience the opposite result, some of which can be rectified with a little more time and care the following day.
One which we thought to improve on, was how to hold our wicks securely during pouring, setting and with efficiency.
We had used many of what is available in the industry, like icy pole sticks that just couldn’t behave themselves unless you kept checking that the wick was taught and centred until the wax set, the tiered metal types that wouldn’t quite fit all wick sizes, sometimes it was just too small to hold the large wick, too large for the smaller wicks or they just didn’t sit flat on top of your vessel, then turn them upside down and we couldn’t fill our wax to the correct level, fumbling around with cotter pins and many more options.
After many years of experimenting, we came up with the Stiffwicks wick holding tool. Manufactured to last hundreds of applications, simple to attach and clean and effective in what they are designed for, holding your wick taught and straight while your candle wax is setting.
We would love for you to learn more about this tool and view our online video demonstration on you tube or our product details page to see how simple it’s application is.
Best wishes

" I love them, once I got the hang of them it made wicking so much faster and easier. Very secure and evenly spaced. I'm a fan and will be using these from now on! Thank you!"
